The Photo Group

We meet every Thursday morning for 2 hours. Our classes are set up to help learn about photography in a variety of ways. Sometimes we go on field trips and photograph a new space, usually outdoors. We will watch movies, look through photography books and magazines, have discussions. Every few sessions is critique time; we get our images back from the photo lab and pour over how well we visually described our environments. It's a very exciting class! Other classes are more subdued when we organize photos or decide to make collages.

Overall, we are always talking about photographs and how they help communicate when words are not enough. Every Thursday morning is important to each person in this photo group as we share elements of our world by inspiring, caring, and respecting each other.
